| Abayomi O. Baruwa BDS, PhD, Portugal | | Dr. Abayomi Baruwa is an Assistant Professor of Endodontics at the College of Dentistry, Ajman University, United Arab Emirates. He is actively involved in postgraduate education, clinical supervision, and research mentorship within the MSc Endodontics programme. He completed his specialist training in Endodontics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, University of Lisbon Portugal (2016–2019), and was awarded Specialist Membership of the European Society of Endodontology in 2020. He subsequently obtained his PhD in Oral Rehabilitation in April 2023 from University of Lisbon Portugal, with research focused on the effects of endodontic irrigating solutions and protocols on root dentine matrix metalloproteinases and adhesive bonding. His research interests include CBCT-based cross-sectional studies, multimethod assessment nickel–titanium instruments, endodontic irrigating solutions, and clinical outcomes of endodontic treatment. |
